Larry
Rich is the Executive Producer of Maryknoll Productions
in Ossining, NY, a post he has held since 1994. In that capacity
he oversees television and radio production for the Catholic
Foreign Mission Society of America, better known as Maryknoll,
which seeks to educate the US public about the cultures, religions
and socioeconomic realities of the developing world. Mr. Rich
has been responsible for the production of two national TV series
and twenty other documentaries, including the 1995 Academy Award
nominated School of Assassins. |
| Prior to
assuming his current position, Mr. Rich worked in Latin America
for twelve years where he headed up the video unit of a human
rights center in Peru, documenting cases and producing videos
widely used in communities and organizations throughout that
country to promote human rights |

Producer-Director-Writer,
Gayla Jamison, has 25 years' experience
in human rights, social issue and educational documentaries
that have taken her to 17 countries on five continents.
Over the past decade, she has produced a number of documentaries
with Maryknoll Productions, a meaningful association.
Her work has been presented on PBS, Turner Broadcasting,
ABC, NBC, The Learning Channel, Univisión, and
Galavisión.
Much of her documentaries have
focused on Latin America and Spanish-speaking immigrants
in the United States. In 1980 she joined with other
filmmakers and people concerned with social justice
to create Lightfoot Films, a non-profit corporation
that is dedicated to producing documentaries of social
and educational concern. |
